Getting the Most Out of Your Self Storage Unit
What do I need to move in?
To move in, we require a valid form of photo ID, like an Australian Driver’s License or a passport. Once your identity is verified, our team will guide you through the self-storage process step by step.
How do I choose the right size storage unit?
We offer a range of unit sizes to meet various requirements.

How secure is Storage Society?
All of our facilities feature individually alarmed units, perimeter fencing, and electronically controlled gates. With well-lit premises and 24-hour digital CCTV, you can trust that your belongings are safe with us.
What are your payment terms?
Payments are made monthly in advance on the anniversary of your move-in date. We can send invoices five days before the payment is due if needed.
What about moving and transportation?
You are responsible for moving your items to our facilities. However, we offer a van available for your use free of charge during your move-in.
Do you offer services for students?
Yes! We provide short-term storage solutions ideal for students, and our variety of unit sizes can accommodate your specific needs.
How do you handle pest control?
We employ a professional pest control service that conducts routine inspections and implements control measures, keeping us updated with reports.
Is the facility air-conditioned?
While our units are not air-conditioned, the building is constructed to high standards, featuring insulation, concrete panels, and specially designed ventilation to maintain a cool environment.
Can I store small items?
Absolutely! Our rates start at just $2.50 per day. Storage Society offers affordable solutions with unit sizes ranging from 1m² to 26m².
How long can I keep my items stored?
You can store your belongings for as long as you need. Payments are made monthly, and you only need to give us 7 days’ notice to vacate. The minimum rental period is one month.
When can I access my stored items?
With our premium membership, you enjoy unlimited access to your unit 24/7. Standard membership allows access from 6am to 10pm.
Is self-storage expensive?
We have cost-effective options available for various space requirements, ensuring you can maximize your storage without overspending.
What payment methods do you accept?

Setting up automatic payments with your credit card is the most convenient option, and there are no additional fees for using credit cards.

Do I need to pack my items before storing them?
It’s advisable to pack your belongings in sturdy boxes to facilitate stacking and minimize damage. While you don’t have to pack everything in boxes, using a dustcover is smart, and it’s good to protect soft furnishings.
How much notice is required to vacate my unit?
We request 7 days’ written notice if you plan to move out. If your plans change, you can extend this notice period while continuing to pay rent.
Do the storage units have electricity?
Units that are 15m² or larger come with individual lighting controls. Although there are no standard power outlets, arrangements can be made if necessary (terms and conditions apply).
Where can I find packing materials?
We carry a wide array of packing supplies, including cardboard boxes and bubble wrap, available at our Storage Society facilities. Our team is also happy to provide tips on how to maximise your storage experience.
