Some things to know before hiring a van
Drivers
Drivers must be at least 21 years old and possess a full manual or automatic driver’s license. Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate learners, provisional, or E-plate license holders due to insurance restrictions.
Deposit
A deposit must be paid via a credit or debit-credit account at the start of the hire. The cardholder must be present to sign for the card at the time of hire and again upon return to process the deposit refund.
Fuel
All vehicles must be returned with the same fuel level as when hired (e.g., if collected with a full tank, it must be returned full). A fuel receipt will be required to confirm the correct fuel grade was used. Failure to refuel will result in additional charges.
Additional Drivers
If there will be additional drivers, they must be noted on the hire agreement. Should a person other than the noted drivers drive our vehicle, they will not be covered under insurance.
Insurance
All hires come with a standard excess of $5,500, which applies unless an insurance waiver has been purchased.
Vehicle Condition
All vehicles must be returned in a clean and presentable condition. If the vehicle is returned dirty and/or there is cigarette or unpleasant odours in the cab, a cleaning fee will be charged.
